It’s not all woo-woo trends and juice cleanses… in fact it’s none of that.
Read below to learn what a health & wellness coach actually does (and doesn’t).
Here’s what a certified health + wellness coach does for her clients:
- Focuses on the who (you) not the what (illness, etc.)
- Focuses on the whole person
- Has the skills to bring out the best in YOU and help you find + follow-through on resources and solutions
- Provides resources (for me, it’s anything from sleep, detox, relaxation, relationship/community, hydration/nutrition, and much more based on your goals.)
- Helps remove obstacles + plans for set-backs so you’re ready when they come up
- Supports your well-being
- Addresses + recognizes the emotional side of things when it comes up
- Promotes personal + professional development + growth
- Holds you accountable to your why
- Is a lifestyle behavioral change specialist so expect the changes you want to actually happen
- Is not a therapist
