Lemon + Ginger are staples in our wellness kitchen!

Lemon + Ginger are staples in our wellness kitchen!

A simple, yet non-negotiable for me is my morning hot water with lemon juice and pink Himalayan sea salt.

Why?

It’s the most effective and easiest gift you can give yourself to kick-off each day.

How’s it work?

It’s a liver detox. Taking good care of your liver is so important because our bodies restore and detox while we sleep, so what better time to flush all that gunk outta our bodies than first thing in the morning?

This is really incredible if you’re under the weather as it jump starts your path back to feeling 100%! Your energy level will increase almost immediately after eliminating all of those toxins when you pee! Yay!

Next up is an awesome recipe I discovered in Dirty Genes, by Ben Lynch. If you haven’t read this one, add it to the list! :) In Dirty Genes you’ll uncover simple ways you can take your genetic makeup and predestined diseases into your own hands by changing and washing your genes. A simple recipe that’s become a weekly staple for us is the Coconut Green Curry Chicken Soup.

Finally, remove from heat and add in:
